As global consumers increasingly focus on natural seasonings and healthy ingredients, the fresh garlic market has seen new growth in 2025. Huaang Food Processing, a company known for high-quality agricultural processing and export, recently announced a major expansion of its fresh garlic supply chain to meet strong demand in European and North American markets for fresh, additive-free garlic.
In a press release, Huaang Food Processing said it has entered into new long-term procurement agreements with partner farms in major garlic-producing regions such as China and India, while introducing advanced cold chain technology to ensure freshness from field to packaging. “Our fresh garlic bulbs are plump, with stable pungency, and enter the processing stage within 48 hours of harvest, maximally preserving active compounds like allicin,” said the company’s quality control director.
It is reported that Huaang Food Processing plans to launch a retail-oriented small-pack fresh garlic series in the fourth quarter of this year, featuring a “wash-and-use” concept to better suit home cooking scenarios.
