Huaang Food Processing Gains Market Share with Stable Quality

Fresh onions, a major vegetable commodity worldwide, are seeing supply chain stability become the top buyer concern this year amid logistics cost fluctuations and climate uncertainty. Against this backdrop, Huaang Food Processing has secured long-term contracts from multiple international fresh produce buyers, leveraging its years of experience in production area management and graded packaging.

Huaang Food Processing noted that its fresh onions are primarily sourced from high-latitude, dry growing regions, giving them natural storage tolerance, dry outer skins, and moderate pungency. The company uses automated sorting equipment to classify onions into medium and large sizes by diameter and offers bulk, mesh bag, or small retail packaging as per customer requirements.

“Over the past six months, our fresh onion export volume has grown more than 40% year-on-year, with no large-scale returns due to quality issues,” said the company’s deputy operations general manager. “The key is that we intervene in management from the harvest stage, strictly controlling dryness and mechanical damage rates.” Huaang Food Processing’s fresh onions are now available in supermarket and foodservice distribution networks across the EU and Southeast Asia.
